Dog safety

Dog is Man’s best friend, but we have to be friends to our dogs as well. It seems like for some people this exclusively means giving them food, water and the occasional pat in the head, but a dog needs more than that from the humans that house it. One of the things that we need to provide for our dogs is safety, and that’s often more complicated than it sounds like. As much as dogs have been with us since the beginning of history, they are not prepared to deal with the dangers of our daily lives. Things that are totally harmless to us can be an obstacle or a potentially dangerous situation for a dog. Just the fact that dogs can’t eat things that we usually have around the house in significant quantities, like chocolate and some kinds of vegetables or fruits, for example, pose a significant danger to the dog.
There’s also the matter or dog transportation. We navigate the world in our vehicles, but dogs aren’t exactly adapted to ride in cars. That is why the thoughtful dog owner has his car equipped with dog cages where his dog can travel safely and that reduce risks towards the driver as well.
