Take it as it comes

Everyone likes to travel. Ok, maybe not everyone, but most people enjoy seeing new places and trying out new things. But having the experience of traveling is often hard on your wallet, and cheap travel deals are hard to find. But they are out there, you just have to look for them, and be ready to jump on the opportunity.
First of all, make up a budget and be prepared to stick by it. Sure a small amount of flexibility is acceptable, but keep in mind that, asides from hotels and airline tickets, you’ll also have to take into account prices of living abroad.
Once you realize how much you’re willing to spend, put yourself out there. Most travel agencies have an online newsletter, and some of them have a database of potential clients. So keep an eye out and shop around a lot. Also, keep an eye on air travel deals. Along with cheap options for long term bookings, some airliners will sell a few tickets at discount prices when they’re trying to fill up a flight last minute. That, combined with some clever hotel booking, can have the makings of a travel deal cheaper than any travel agency will get you.
